Debenham LC 3 - 4 Sporting 87

A fantastic match under the lights at Debenham. Sporting raced out of the blocks to a 3-0 half-time lead courtesy of a Nathan hat-trick. A long-range strike (cross?) from Kyle shortly after half-time gave Sporting a comfortable 4-0 lead. But far from defeated Debenham quickly replied for 4-1 and a wonder strike for 4-2. Soon it was 4-3 and Debenham piled on the pressure for a late equaliser. Sporting held firm through the 8 minutes of injury time to record the win.
A great advert for the SIL Senior. An excellent ref (Samuel Ashcroft), a good crowd (80+) and Debenham were great hosts.
