A very windy night at AFC Sudbury for Sporting's final home game of the season. Harwich & Parkeston made the best of the conditions in the first half. Sporting improved after the break but the visitors deservedly took home the 3 points.
it's been a great experience for the Sporting lads this season - regardless of the results and the league table. Most of the team are playing up a year (or more) and they will return next season stronger for the experience gained this year.
This fixture marks the end of the Thurlow Nunn journey for Sporting 87 manager, Will Frost, who after 9 seasons of coaching youth and adult football for Sporting is taking a well-deserved break.
