A shortened 40 minute each way game due to a late kick-off (ref arrived late). Few clear chances for either team. In the second-half Cockfield took the lead with a decent long range strike. Soon afterwards the Cockfield keeper made a good penalty save, and late onn Sporting had a header ruled out for a debatable offside.
